PRODUCER RESPONSIBILITY: PACKAGING AND WEEE

Producer Responsibility Regulations have been here in the UK for over 10 years, initially for packaging, and more recently for electrical goods and batteries. However, many businesses are still unsure of their obligations under these regulations and are uncertain of how to comply. In addition, many businesses who are registered and compliant do not know whether there is any environmental benefit to complying with the regulations! Andrew Francis will chair this overview of the regulations and will share his experience of 14 years working in this area.
