Can renewables really earn for small-to-medium sized organisations?
Session time slot
  • Session WE1 | Wednesday 17 March | 09:40-10:25
Synopsis
The UK Government has recently announced a new scheme (Feed In Tariff) that arguably makes small-to-medium sized renewables commercially viable for the first time. This and other technological advances have converged to make a compelling case for organisations of all shapes and sizes to integrate renewable technologies into their land and property assets, not only to reduce utility bills, but to actually earn revenue. It’s not as difficult as most think. This session explains the scheme, explores whether it truly is commercially viable for the vast majority, and examines the potential blockers and how to overcome them if renewables present a commercial opportunity.
