Employee engagement & personal carbon trading
Session time slot
  • Session WE2 | Wednesday 17 March | 10:40-11:25
Synopsis
Many employees want their organisation to take action to manage their impacts both in the workplace and at home, whilst other employee’s remain disengaged with sustainability. This session debates what staff want to see and how to engage them in sustainability programmes. We also look at our case study of how we implemented the world's first personal carbon trading scheme for staff, how it works, how we got 700 staff to sign up, how we manage it, how others can replicate it and how we launched it, alongside other sustainability efforts. You may have seen it covered in the media, it had a full page article in The Times and was featured on BBC 5Live and BBC Radio 4, so it’s certainly a hot topic
