How to unlock value from corporate sustainability
Session time slot
  • Session WE2 | Wednesday 17 March | 10:40-11:25
Synopsis
Find out how leading companies are achieving value by doing business in a sustainable way in this discussion hosted by Dave Knight of leading consultancy Two Tomorrows.

Dave will kick-start the roundtable by providing brief insights from the Tomorrow’s Value Rating of the sustainability performance of the world’s largest companies. He will highlight innovative CR management practices uncovered by the Rating, and you’ll be able to discuss how these could be applied in your organisation.

So far, the Rating has examined the largest companies in the energy utilities, oil and gas, ICT, hotels and food and beverage sector.

At this session, you will learn about:
• the areas of CR management that offer most scope for competitive differentiation and long-term value creation
• the crucial differences between the sustainability leaders and the laggards across a range of industries
• how leading companies are making sustainability pay
• what you should be doing to derive more value from your CR efforts.

This will not be a chalk-and-talk presentation. Instead, it will be a highly participative session in which you will be able to discuss leading-edge CR practices and swap ideas and experiences with your peers.
