Biography
Glenn Cargill is a Principle Verifier with Achilles for the carbonReduction scheme, a supply chain initiative focused on reducing carbon in the supply chain.
As Principle Verifier he is responsible for the verification planning and auditing of companies to the CEMARS Standard (Certified Emissions Measurement and Reduction Scheme) as well as helping to ensure the scheme is harmonised with the requirements of the Carbon Reduction Commitment.
He graduated from the University of York with a Bsc in Chemistry. Prior to working for Achilles he gained extensive experience within both the European Union Emission Trading Scheme and Climate Change Agreements, where he was responsible for the verification of over 500MtCO2 in the UK. He has also worked as a technical expert in both the USA and Japan on various carbon reduction schemes.
